Biographie
Grand Duca est un
trio qui, à travers les groupes britanniques et
particulièrement Irlandais des années 60-70, a
subi les influences des grands bluesmen américains.
De 1998 à 2001, le groupe a constitué un répertoire
ponctué de nombreux standards blues,
saupoudré de soul et
fortement assaisonné de rock n
roll.
Le groupe s'est notamment produit en 2000 au Festival de Guitare d'Aucamville avec Nawfel, Nicolas (ex-Fly
& the Tox) et Blues Power Trio
et en 2003 en première partie de NINE BELOW ZERO.
Aujourd'hui, Eric LaValette poursuit sa carrière avec le
Eric
LaValette Band comme une suite logique de
l'expérience Granduca.
